Jealousy

Dru's finally made it to the Schola - Prima-the vampire-fighting training facility and life is about to get more dangerous. There's a brand new Svetocha (female half-vampire) in town - a redheaded vixen named Anna who would rather kill Dru than share her spotlight.
Dru has taken on her fair share of ghosts, suckers and zombies. Now she's being hunted by a four-hundred-year-old Nosferat (vampire) who has unleashed his army of suckers on her. But Dru is armed, dangerous, and not going down without a fight.

Lili St. Crow writes better novels as she goes along in the Strange Angels series because this book is packed full of surprises including a shocking revalation about how Dru's mother really died. My favourite character is a Djamphir body guard of Dru's called Leon. I like Leon because he is not predjudice against Wulfen as many of his kind are and because of his great sense of humour which gives his character an amusing likable side while the other is dangerous. My favourite scene is when Anna and Dru fight each other but it gets exciting because both of their Aspect's come on (they grow small fangs, blonde highlights and their Aspect can take the form of an animal).

This book is nothing but a 5/5 stars, you have to read it!

Betrayals

This is a sequel novel to my previous blog : Strange Angels which carries on Dru Anderson's story except this time she knows why her life is falling apart. She's just made it to a school filled with both werewolf and half-vampire's but what's the problem? Simple, they're all male. With unanswered questions pulling her this way and that Dru finds herself twisted in serecy and betrayals and thats not to mention the vampire attacks...




I liked this even better than Strange Angels because it's got more action and understanding of whats happening to Dru and why it's happening which is the most interesting information this book gives away. My favourite scene is the first vampire attack because it's one of the best action scenes that really shows how desperate the vampires are to kill Dru plus the scene is by far one of the most exciting and gripping scenes in the book. My favourite character would be Dibs, who is one of Dru's first friends at the school and because he is a sweet, loyal friend to Dru that is one of her friends that helps and supports her, also to be one of five to accompany her to a new "safe place".


I rate this book 5 stars for it's awsome storyline and new creative characters (especially the ones with depth, secrets and motives to betray Dru).

Strange Angels

Strange angels features Dru Anderson as the main character. After a terrifying encounter with a zombie, Dru realizes that she is on her own and that it is no time to burst into tears. Befriended by a schoolmate dru finds a hiding place but soon discovers that compared to whats up against her she's nothing, however she's not doing too bad and when a mysterious stranger shows up knowing about her life Dru decides to go where he wants but suddenly events take a turn for the worst...

I think that Strange Angels's best scene is when she goes to the safe house and the tention building as she walks down the corridor and the fight at the very end of the book. My favourite character would be Dru because you hardly ever find books with a main female character that can fight and defend herself just as well as any boy. Dru hunts down things that go bump in the night and has a strong vast knowledge of all the things that she needs to know and is an all round nice person, she is so one of the best heroine's that i have red and i can't wait to read the next one!

Skulduggery Pleasent

Stephanie Edgley is just a normal girl until her uncle dies and she meets mysterious detective, Skulduggery Pleasent. With a new life, name and purpose Stephanie joins the world of magic and teams up with the detective only to discover a plot to bring back ancient gods so powerful that they were known as the faceless ones. Still, at least it was better than sitting at home. I think that Derek Landy has written an awsome book full of adventure and excitment that makes it one of those books that you are unable to put down. He uses a good, unique storyline and writing techniques such as giving the reader the bad guy as well as the good guy's and giving the good guy a twist. My favourite character is Tanith Low because she is a cool fighter that uses magic to for example walk up walls or run on the ceiling.

For an exicitng novel I give this book 4 stars
